Hello there everyone!
I'm trying to figure out the best way to animate a logo I created in Illustrator in After Effects for a video bumper, but this will be the first time I'm taking on a project like this (it's a personal project so luckily no huge deadline) so I'm not having much luck searching for the right kind of tutorial. I'm much more familiar with PP than AE, but I want to push myself through an AE project to learn it better.
The logo in question is made up of shapes that create a landscape scene within another main shape, so it's in all in one layer. The idea is to create different "seasons" switches in the landscape. Is it best to make the slides of the animation in Illustrator and put them together in AE/PP or can I import the Illustrator file and create those changes in AE? If so, does anyone know of a tutorial anywhere that's at all similar to what I'm trying to accomplish?
I hope that makes sense. Sorry if I sound like a newb.
Thanks so much!
