Animation Presets from Motion Array do not work

New Here ,
Sep 30, 2021 Sep 30, 2021

Hi,

I am using After Effects CC 18.4.1.

I installed animation presets from Motion Array (15 Animation Presets from Hu  Shahir)

in the right place.

They appear in the Bridge, but I cannot preview them.

I do preview the presets which were already there.

I cannot apply those presets to a layer in a HD comp 29, 07 fps.

Anyone can help me?

*** I switched the expression engine from Javascript to Legacy Extended.

I did : File - Scripts - Update Legacy  Expressions.

Hi TVCO5EA4,

Thanks for writing in.

It could be compatibility issue. Could you try contacting the plug-in manufacturer and check if it's compatible with the version of After Effects you're using.

Let us know how it goes.

Thanks,

Nishu

A long time ago you could create an animation preset and then generate a preview and combine the pair into something Bridge could use in the same way the stock Animation Presets have previews. That option was discontinued a long time ago. As far as I know, there is no way to generate previews for animation presets that will show up in Bridge. You have to rely on the names and the folder structure for your custom presets. You will have to apply the animation presets to see what they do. There is no bug.
