I'm having the reported 'Memory Leak' issue. It occurs when I simply create a Comp from a video clip. If "Cache frames when idle" is enabled for the Comp, the memory usage shoots to 97% in a few seconds, and no other work is possible due to 'Out of Memory' errors.
I've tried with several different 1080P clips, H.264, H.265, Apple ProRes, and even an uncompressed AVI exported from AE.
Interestingly, when I turn "Cache frames when idle" off during the session, the Memory Leak seems to stop, but AE does not release the RAM that it consumed during the leak, the usage holds at 97% until I restart. I've attached a log file of the issue.
My AE version is 24.1.0 Build 78)
