Arabic text in After Effects

I joined Adobe recently and will be partnering with the After Effect team regarding Right to Left languages. Since I'm a native Arabic speaker, I would like to know more about the issues and challenges you, as After Effects users are facing while using the app with Arabic texts. Feel free to write to me in Arabic as well if you prefer. Looking forward to receiving your feedback

Same problem here, I can write Arabic, but I can't add tracking between letters

Perhaps it's because that preference is no longer necessary? Have you tried using Arabic text to see if it works?

Working with multiple languages in After Effects and Premiere Pro is easier and faster now.

Instead of going to Preferences every time you need to use a different script, simply start typing in the chosen language. For graphics that include Middle Eastern and South Asian languages, Left-to-right or right-to-left settings can be applied directly in the Essential Graphics panel. Different scripts can be combined in the same graphics elements and all text layers are interchangeable, making text layers and graphics easier and faster for multi-lingual editing.
