every time I import a video the audio is a few seconds ahead. I open the mp4 and it's fine, but once I try to edit it with after effects the audio is wrong and I don't know how to fix it. this has never happened until now and I'm not sure what caused it.
Can you share the video so we can see if we can repro it and if it's something on your end or in AE?

its happening to 3 videos the shortest one is 6 minutes long but all my other recordings import just fine. and still when I just play them the audio is fine, just once I import them into AE. also how am I supposed to share a video? the only option is to add a link but it's an mp4 file?

Can you share the video from your Adobe Creative Cloud cloud storage, or google drive/one drive, etc?
If you bring the video into Premiere Pro or Media Encoder, is the audio still out of sync? What if you try re-encoding it in Media Encoder and bring that into AE?

everywhere i try to upload its too big, the problem is still there after encoding. is there just a tool i can use to shift the audio? am i just dumb or does this fancy editing software not have the ability to just adjust audio like insta does? I tried the audio delay effect and that just added an echo

literally my best fix is to stack the recordings, mute one, turn the video off for the other, and aline the audio manualy lmao
