Not sure why the beam effect is moving. I am trying to display land boundaries in a video and near the end of the video the beams move. Here is the link to the video where near the end the problem occurs. Worked pretty hard on this effect just to have this happen. Hopefully someone with much more experience might be able to help.
Thanks

How did you track the footage?

I used the Track Camera in After Effects.

Could you share your project file (without the footage)?

Not sure if this will help, but it starts to move out of place at around 20 seconds. I made another project with different video and it too moved around 20 seconds.
Thanks

This is most likely a tracking issue. If you place a Small Solid (100x100 pixels) at your chosen Solved Point, does the Solid exhibit the same erratic movement? If the answer is yes, then you will need to find a more accurate Solved Point, from your tracked points. We may be able to help you here but you'll need to provide a screen capture of the 3D Camera Track's Effect Control panel - ensure all property values are visible when you perform your screen grab. Then, perform a screen grab of your Comp Panel, while selecting the 3D Camera Tracker's effect, in the Timeline - this will allow us to view your tracked data points. A screen grab closer in time towards the end of the track is best since this is when the issue arises.

Not sure that is the issue. The exact same issues happens on other projects I have created.
Any other thoughts of what could be wrong.

First you could answer the question Roland asked:
If you place a Small Solid (100x100 pixels) at your chosen Solved Point, does the Solid exhibit the same erratic movement?
Second you could answer Szalam's question:
Could you share your project file (without the footage)?
Third you can answer my question:
Why do you consistently ignore the questions people ask you?

Gutter,
The problem is not the tracking. It has to do something with the beam effect. I have tried the same beam effect on different footage and after approximately 18 seconds the starting beam point jumps out.

Gutter, I am not trying to ignore anyone's questions. Cannot figure out how to upload the AEP file.

So if someone asks you if you can upload a project file but you can't because you don't know how, then the proper thing to do is respond to that person and tell them you do not know how. Rather than ignoring them.
If someone takes the time to try and help you it's basic common decency to respond to THEM.

Going to try that. Thanks

I believe the problem is the beam length has exceeded. I created a new null object right before the beam would move and it worked.
