So i recently purchased after effect and i'm not familiar with the program. i have been trying to draw with the brush tool and sort of make an animation for a part of my video. i have been trying to draw frame by frame, but i was wondering if it is possible for me to copy something i have drawn with the brush tool and paste it on to the next frame so this way i don't have to draw the same thing over and over again on every frame. this way i could have the same thing on for example 5

Inside the Paint panel you can change the Duration of the brush. Choosing Custom will allow you to set your own number.

Don't worry if you don't get the duration perfect when you create the stroke as you can always adjust the length in the Timeline by opening up the Paint effect.
