Center Anchor Point in New Shape Layers

So in the general preferences there's an option (7th from top) "Center Anchor Point in New Shape Layers"

Toggling this preference seems to have no effect when creating shapes.  Am i missing something?

I think it only work on the regular shape layer, like square, stars, circle... but if you draw your shape with pin i didn't work,

按 Y
然後 定位點
就會跳到中心

than Anchor Point

will jump to center
