Change Keybind Layout Language in After Effects 2018

So there is this cool new Keyboard Shortcuts tool. But I see no option to change the keyboard language / layout. I use a QWERTZ keyboard but use AE in english for obvious reasons. This makes a lot of shortcuts not work since AE uses the US shortcuts.

In old AE versions I could just copy the content of the DE keybind TXT file into the US keybind TXT file but in AE2018 no such TXT files seem to exist anymore.

How does one change the keybind layout without changing AE language?

I have the exact same question. I hope there is an easier way with the new Keyboard Shortcuts Window, instead of no option at all...

Maybe someone who uses After Effects in german language can upload the new TXT file for us? It is located under
C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\After Effects\15.0\aeks named After Effects Default.txt

I whould do it myself but I have no time to reinstall AE completely..

Would be great to have it also for Latinamerican Spanish Keyboards. For now I'm customizing on the fly my own .txt file

I found it, there is a folder called aeks and there are is a txt file located "Afer Effects Default.txt" which is essentialy the old "Adobe After Effects 14.2 Win en_US Shortcuts.txt" file. But if you have both version in this folder you can just switch it in the new Keyboard Shortcuts Window.

I've just installed both languages and kept all the settings and now there are also a "After Effects-Standard.txt" file which I can slect in the top left corner of the new window.

Yes indeed I compared the new TXT with the old ones and the only changes seem to be the version number and the new shortcut to open the new shortcut-manager.

Luckily I still have the shortcuts TXT for AE2017 but Adobe should include the different language versions in AE2018 as well.

Could you go into how you used to do it?

I have CS6 on the Mac and since my keyboard doesn't match the language I'm using most of the keyboard commands don't work.

I've been trying to search for a while, but all I can find are people asking how to change the language which is something I don't want to do.  I only want to be able to change the keybind to a different keyboard.  Specifically, I'm looking for keybindings for the Japanese keyboard which moves a lot of the symbols around.
