Changed the composition size of my project, but the layers are still at the old dimensions????

I changed the comp size from 1080x1080 to 1080x1920, but the layers did not change with the comp. Does anyone know what I did wrong or if its possible to change the comp size after the project is done and have the layers also change? TIA

Are your layers Element 3d layers? If they are, you will need to change the Solid size to the same as the comp. You can use the shortcut key Ctrl + Shift + Y to edit the current size,

You misunderstand the process. AE never auto-resizes layers just by resizing a comp. There's nothing wrong. Parametric layers like solids cna be resized via the respective options in the Layer menu, external footage types may require editing in their source program or using different import options.
