Color Correction not working in After Effects 2019

Hello,
I'm currently using After Effects CC 2019 and I kept running into issues whenever I were to use the color correction effects. When I were to use those that has the "32" color effects, eg. curves, levels, exposure; it will not have any effect and will then cause the entire composition to hang. I'm unable to playback, or when I were to move the time indicator, the frame will not change.
It's weird as previously I was able to use the color correction curves, levels, exposure on my composition, but at times it just stopped working and I'm unable to edit the colors on my work which causes me so much frustration. The other color correction effects with the "16" eg. vibrance, auto color, auto contrast are able to work.
I tried clearing the cache, uninstall and reinstalling After Effects but to no avail. It would be great if I could get some help on this. Thank you so much.

Start by updating your graphics drivers and check AE's hardware acceleration settings.

Hi there,
Thanks for reaching out. I second with @Mylenium. The After Effects freeze issue while using 32bit effects could be related with the GPU. Try updating the GPU driver manually from the GPU manufacturer's website.
Are you having this issue with a particular media? If yes, please share the media details (format/codec, frame rate, frame size).
Let us know. We're here to help.
Thanks,
Nishu

I have run into a similar issue whereby attempts to use Levels in Color Correction are not making adjustments to Red values in AE CC 2019. The media in question is a 4K MOV file. Details are as follows:
The strange thing is that every other channel will work however Red does not cahnge value at all.
Any ideas?
