Composition canvas anchor no longer working when expanding comp size

I used to be able to select comp anchor position in the comp settings and then scale that comp keeping the layout intact along the chosen anchor - for example, I have a comp 100x100, but need to expand it to 100x200 and keep all layers oriented along the bottom... I would go into Comp settings > Advanced tab and set anchor to bottom, then back to main tab and change the canvas size. But now it seems the no matter where the anchor gets set, the comp scales all x and y keeping content centered. Please fix asap!!!

I've just tried exactly what you've mentioned and have no trouble at all.  The base layers stay anchored to the base when I expand 100 to 200 pixels horizontal height.

So perhaps there's something specific going wrong with your project.  Can you post a few screengrabs showing what happens?

OK thanks. Yes... seems to be working with other and new comps... but the one I needed won't and weirdness. Anyways - will keep moving ahead. This one comp seems to be the only trouble comp.

Had a similar problem today (working with AE 25.1); resized the comp with anchor at the top, and it seemed my animated elements didn´t respect the anchor but the static ones did. I was at a loss for a couple of minutes, but then it hit me - the elements that "didn´t work" were 3D comps. I assume AE´s default comp camera doesn´t translate very well when changing comp sizes (I didn´t have an actual camera layer in this comp, I should add). Creating a new 35mm camera after changing size resolved the issue for me; maybe that was the problem on your comp?
