After i create the mask and tracked it, press Generate fill layer and nothing happening, the message it's the same from hours: waiting.
I've already tried to uninstall and install a fresh one AE but doesnt' work.

How long is the shot and what format is the original footage.
Try using the process on a 3 or 4-second shot and see what happens.

I've tried with a short mp4 from 3 sec. and with a screenshot too just for testing but same results.
Also, once I realize that the program is not doing anything, trying to close AE it doesn't respond and I have to force the closure

try first transcoding your footage to a format like Quicktime Cineform. then import back and try again.

Could be an internal network issue. Do you have any app that’s monitoring your network like a firewall or some kind of netwo limiter? Maybe you working in a workstation that has limitations from an IT department?

I've installed a new windows 10 x64 in a new ssd partition and then, with a clean system operative i re-download AE.
I fixed the with that 'cause it's probably that some AE old version directory got in conflict.

I solved the problem. It is useless to reinstall the application. All you need to do in this situation is to update OpenCL.dll - if the library is old, then nothing will work. I have conducted several experiments if this is true and everything has been confirmed. I downloaded the OpenCL.dll library file separately and replaced it in the directory - C: \ Windows \ System32
and it worked. Then I returned the old library and everything stopped working again. Problem solved. Please secure in the post.
