Disable color management conversions for proxies?

Hi there, I've got a workflow that could really benefit from the "import and set as proxy" option when rendering.  However, it will only work if I can disable color management.  Ordinarily when you import a clip you can go to Interpet Footage >> Color Management >> Preserve RGB to disable the color management conversion.  However no such option exists when a proxy is created for a comp.

Is there a way to turn off color managment conversion for proxies?  Or for the whole project?

You probably would need some script that does it after the fact. Sounds like an odd workflow, though.
