Hi there,
Using Point to circle method for layer mask path points and interpolating them, i have created a torus like structure (attached) which i can animate. Then i used this mask for element 3D and extruded. Now, when mask is animating then the e3D model recenters, it doesn't stay in place. Need some solution for this.
Thanks

No solution. This is to be expected due to how E3D expects the input masks and does its internal geometry handling. The pivot point simply has to be consistent.. You have to think of a different solution like using two masks and the internal boolean features, not animate the mask itself.

Ok, let me tell u why i did like that, I just need a simple trim path like animation for a 3D deformable torus or ring. There is no option to do it in E3D. I have other elements in element 3D as well to interact with this torus. So i must make inside E3D for interaction. I found 2 ways to achieve this. One is to dynamically create a mask path like above so that i can control. Second is to create animated alpha texture using "stroke effect" and "Layer as UV and Alpha bias option in E3D". (Refer Attachment 1 and 2)
Second method works fine but there are no Fill caps on edges of torus.
Also tried replicator in e3D with sphere but it doesn't have slider to control start end of shape.
Please refer Attachment 3 for actual requirement.
Let me know if you have better ways to achieve this simple thing.
Thank you bro.
