element 3d presets are missing

hi everyone, I installed element 3d on my mac with after effects 2023... but in the presets (when I click materials) nothing appears.. someone knows how to fix this? or have some presets that do like the "gloss" effect that i'm searching??

I don't store my AE and Element program files on the drive Element points to. If that's the case for you, try reinstalling element with the install folder in the default location.  Everything should then load in.

Can you please elaborate? I've tried to install E3d in different folders such as documents or on AE Applications folder, but I run into the same issue. The plugin loads up, but the presets are all missing. I tried so many different methods for 4 hours straight till I realised it may actually not be compatible with AE 2023?

Make sure you have the latest version that matches your AE version, use the Video Copilot installer and use the default locations for everything, restart your computer, and relaunch AE. If that does not solve your problem, reach out to Video Copilot to see if they have a solution.
