Hello!
Cinema4D does not work for me and I need it.
I once tried out the trial vertion of full Cinema4D knowing that afterwards I can go back to Lite. Unfortunately this is not the case here.
We tried out to perform a clean uninstall of AE , then reinstall it to no avail. The last Adobe representative told me to purchase the full version of Cinema4D because Maxon systems identify me as someone whose software is expired. This is an answer that is hard for me to accept...
What do you think I should do now?
Thank you!
Ari

Would you check the directory of C4D installed?

Thank you.
I also have this messege:
Alert!
DEBUG: Error while writing lite cert
Directory for rendering:
C:\Program Files\Maxon Cinema 4D R22\Cineware.exe
Directory for editing:
C:\Program Files\Maxon Cinema 4D R22\Cinema 4D.exe
I tried to change the editing file location for Cinema 4D Lite instead of Cinema 4D.exe and restarted and Purge>All memory & Disk Cache - It fix the problem.

Hi, I would want to update that according to Maxon and Adobe Support I have to reinstall windows OS, because non-Latin letters are in the system folders. That would be the only way to make Maxon systems track Cinema 4D lite subscription.

Yikes. What a drag. Well..before doing that I would first try uninstalling ALL Adobe products using the CC cleaner tool https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/cc-cleaner-tool-installation-problems.html.
Next uninstall the CC app completely if it hasn't been already.
Then delete any left over application folders of both Adobe and Maxon and run a registry cleaner to try and get rid of any leftover registry entries. Finally, reboot and then reinstall the CC app and After Effects and see if C4D lite works.
If it still doesn;t work then I guess you need to decide whether or not using C4D lite is worth the aggravation of of doing a clean OS install.

Thank you.
I know that Adobe Support already used CC cleaner tool on my machine but I'm not sure they followed all the steps you listed. I will update here how things developed. Thank you.

Hi.
I have not yet tested the solution suggested by P.M.B. so the problem remains.
If that would not work, I will have have to reinstall windows OS as Maxon and other Adobe support suggested. I hope we do not have to get to this.
Do you have non-Latin letters are in the system folders as well? that could us focus on the causes of the problem.
