Error while using 3D After Effects

Hi there! I'm trying to make a cube out of one of my clips and I've done this a hundred times before. But for some reason, when I switch to custom veiw one to place the sides of the cube it distorts my clip like this. I've checked my settings and I can't figure out the problem. Can anyone help? I'm using the Classic 3D renderer.

There are several bugs with this and this may be just one of them. I can offer no better answer than that.
