EXR Cryptomattes Unusable

Why are cryptomattes still so slow/unsuable in AfterEffects 2023? It's been 8 years since they're implementation. We have to use them on a daily basis for post-production work. We have to use Nuke and Fusion to extract the obj id's and then import them back into AfterEffects which is a really ineffective workflow.

Unless I missed something, I can't see any update on the topic since 2018. Could members of the community please bump this to show Adobe this is priority feature to fix.

No different compressions still have the same issue. To be honest it's not even masks or cryptomate, try to load and render a normal exr in AE is just so slow. Would be great to get an update form Adobe??

Why dont you just fix it? Its a massive part of any "compositor"?

AE Ripped. I am switched to Nuke for any coms. AE novadays suitable only for shapes animation and few effects. I am glad that i not pay mysels, as company does. This new AI politics and unusable performence wil never be improved, 10 years, still no any good updates. But as idustry going forward so fast, it is almost impossible to work with complex projects using AE only. Why i need to prerender every pass to png in AE, if i can use Nuke. Adobe, we are your customers, start doing something after all this years

Cryptomattes are painfully slow! This has been the case for so long, and it's unbelievable that Adobe keeps pushing unnecessary updates instead of fixing basic features.
