Extensions not opening

In After Effects when I click on the extension to try to open it, the extension does nothing does anyone know how to fix this. And i'm on version 18.2.1 if anyone asks.

try
Open regedit > HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/Adobe/CSXS. 11, then add a new entry PlayerDebugMode of type “ string ” with the value of “ 1 ”

this will work 

to open regedit just type"regedit" on toolbar

then follow the steps as mentioned and don't forgot to make string value 1
