Eye Dropper picking wrong color

Participant ,

Hello! Some days ago i've found that my after effects eye dropper isn't working properly.
I know that it's an old issue, but is there any fix? I need to use ofter to pick colors, and the hex numbers wont match them, unless the color that I want to pick is inside my composition (on project thumbnail it keeps getting the wrong color, same at motion tools plugin that collect the color palette).

Hi,

I read your post. I believe this is a known issue. You can upvote this bug report: https://adobe.ly/4mzCd7p. In the meantime, there is a workaround: Switch to the system color picker (Preferences > General > Use system color picker), which often delivers correct color values, though it’s less seamless than AE’s native picker. I hope that will suffice until the team can address the issue. Sorry for the frustration.

Thanks,
Kevin

I've noticed something weird just right now.
Using my Dell U2725QE I get that color difference inside AE.
I'm at work right now and using a LG WK600 as my main monitor, and I don't have any difference in color picker.

Wth is going on? Maybe the color profile of the monitor inside mac preferences?
I've changed anything inside AE.
