File becomes damaged when exporting through H.264 Codec.

I've been facing this issue while exporting my files either through Premiere Pro or After Effects, Whenever I export the file with H.264 Codec the exported file Comes out to be damaged with other codecs like Quicktime i don't face this issue, but I mostly use H.264 Only, I have attached a video of the damaged file.

Try turning off Hardware encoding in the Video tab of the export settings.

That's strange!

Are you using a custom preset to export? Have you tried exporting using Media Encoder? What's the version of After Effects and Premiere Pro you're using? Also, what are your system specifications?

That looks like the source footage is not holding to being encoded to MP4.

Please take a close look at the video file formats and their corresponding bit rates that are being used as source footage.  I would transcode them outside of After Effects in something like Shutter Encoder (donationware) to one of the "Editing" CODECs listed in that application.  If the source footage is low-bitrate H264 or H265, ProRes 422 LT is a good choice.  Then use the File > Replace Footage option in After Effects to swap out the the clips for the corresponding ProRes versions.

Did you solve the problem? I have the same issue. What I do is to export on h.265, but the exported file is heavier than a h.264 normally weighs. It is not the footage or an exporting custom preset. It happens with premiere pro and encoder. HELP! :c
