Graph Editor/Easy Ease Glitch

Hi! I keep getting this glitch in the value graph (see photo): the sharp pivot in position between the two keyframes.I found a couple of clunky workarounds (remove easing or convert keyframes to hold then adjust them, or start over with new keyframes and don't apply easing)... But I'd like to find a real solution. What am I doing to make this happen, and how can I avoid it?
