Please do not reply unless you know how to uncorrupt AEP files

Hi, 

this project file opened perfectly fine yesterday. I've scoured the forums and the best I can gather is the file is corrupted. I have enabled auto-save after this incident, so please don't suggest that. My main point of posting here is hoping someone knows of a website or software of something that can get this project file back.

If you have a corrupt project file, you're hosed.  Sorry.

This is why people regularly make backups of project files in progress, and it's always a hard lesson to learn.  The good thing: it's a mistake you only make once.

You can try to recover your work by creating a brand-new project, and then importing the problem project into it.  If it works, great!  If it doesn't, you're out of luck.

As Dave suggested, try importing your corrupt project into a new, empty project. 
If that doesn't work, it sounds like you'll be rebuilding it.

One other suggestion, though - is this making use of any third-party effects? I have seen those cause issues before, and have been able to work around it by uninstalling the effect in question. It will allow you to at least open the project and switch those effects off.
