Im trying to follow this tutorial: After Effects Tutorial: Particle Reveal on Path for Text & Logos (NO PLUGINS) - YouTube

Around 7:59

I did everything up till 7:59 but my comp keeps saying:

"This project contains an expression: error 1 of 1"

Without actually seeing your full expression code, nobody can advise. Sorry, but hunky screenshots that show us everything except the relevant info and a similar video are of no use to anyone. You could have introduced an extraneous space or other typo in the code and that could be all there is to it, but we have no way of knowing because we can't see the relevant bits.
