help pls :( "error: An output module stopped responding. The file may be damaged or corrupted."

I'm editing a 25 second video and no matter what I do I'm unable to render my project. Everything seems fine and working in the preview. but when I try to render it in the render queue it only renders the first second and it's stuck there forever, so I stop it and the warning pops up.

I removed any broken expressions, cleared cache hundreds of times, restarted my pc, I'm not sure what else I can do... this has never happened to me before. It says that the file might be damaged or corrupted but the project opens and plays just fine, and I don't think I have any corrupted or damaged files in my project.

This has been stressing me out all day, any help is appreciated! 😞

Sorry to hear about the issue. Are you using a preset to export the project? What version of After Effects are you using? Have you tried exporting using Media Encoder?

What happens if you choose other formats like mp4, mov? Can you render it out?
