Hi!

I'm completely new to Adobe Creative Suite and am trying to make a logo reveal intro by animating a window squeegee to wipe in a 'S' motion or diagonally to reveal the logo. Any ideas how to do this? Tips are greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

Here's a project I've put together ( https://www.dropbox.com/s/1nik8eeq3b6hijt/Squeegy.zip?dl=0 ), but try use it for reference and follow these steps instead:

  1. Create a squeegy shape.
  2. On a new shape layer, use the pen tool to click and drag to draw the path you want the squeegy to follow
  3. Expand this shape and delete the fill value and increase the stroke to match the width of your squeegy
  4. Expand the Path option and copy the path (click on the property with a stopwatch and hold CTRL and tap C)
  5. On  the squeegy layer, expand the properties and select the position.  Then hold CTRL and tap V.  This creates keyframes for the squeegy, tracing the shape of the path.  You might need to adjust the anchor to line this up.
  6. On the layer menu, select Transform > Auto-Orient, and set Along Path.  This is get the squeegy to rotate around corners correctly.  You may have to use the rotation control so that the long end lines up, but you won't need to animate this.
  7. Back on the shape layer, use the tiny Add menu to add a Trim Paths animator.
  8. Animate the End property to go from 0% to 100% in time with the squeegy.
  9. Add your logo as a new layer and use the Track Matte options to link it to the shape layer.   Now as the shape's End animates, the logo will be revealed
