How do I create Hindi Text?

I have a question,

I have to write a text in hindi but Adobe After effects does not provide Hindi font(s). I have tried changing the keyboard input in my Mac but it was no good. Is there a way to type in Hindi?

I get a text error like a picture.

I looked for type manu, but it is not anywhere....

please help !

I recommend that you update After Effects to the current version and make another attempt, can you?

You need to change latin to  south Asian & Middle Eastern in text engine setting from Preferences > Type , After doing so restart After Effects and than again copy paste the text. It should be fine than...here the screenshot of the same text before and after enabling  south Asian & Middle Eastern option -
