So I was editing my usual clips, when all the sudden my after effects completely froze and my composition got completely pixelated. Nothing was working so I forced quit and tried going back in After Effects. When I uploaded the saved file however, the screen was dark but all my clips, graphs, keyframes, etc. was all there.

Iv'e checked and looked up everything and I can't seem to find the solution to this. if you have any questions let me know.

Here are some screenshots:

Trash the prefs, manually flush out the caches, reset the workspace.

Hello!

So is there no possible way to fix this? I worked on this for 2 or so hours so I am super upset about restarting everything.

Do you happen to know the cause of this?
