How do I move layers down the timeline one frame at a time on a laptop with numpad?

I have tried every combo with my Dell Precision 3551 - usually on a USB keyboard I can easily shift frames with ALT+PG UP or maybe ALT+SHIFT+PG UP I forget.

But on laptop keyboard, there is no way, I tried using the FN key, I tried with num lock on/off and with FN key, is there a workaround?

Same with the simple SHIFT+PG UP to move 10 frames... no luck.

Try Ctrl + [ to move down and Ctrl +] to move up. On a Mac it is Cmnd + [  and Cmnd + ]

You can find the shortcuts panel by selecting the Edit/Keyboard Shortcuts Menu

Thanks but no luck...

So a case example... Shift 10 frames up is ALT + SHIFT + PG UP

yashlucid_0-1736067751664.png

I tried the following:

  1.  ALT + SHIFT + PG UP (Num lock off)
  2.  ALT + SHIFT + PG UP (Num lock on)
  3.  ALT + SHIFT + PG UP (Num lock off + FN key)
  4.  ALT + SHIFT + PG UP (Num lock on + FN key)

Nada... any ideas? Prefer to get this working so that I don't have to reassign all the other relative shortcuts

Try Alt + Fn + Up Arrow

At least that is the equivalent command on my MAC.
