Hello, Thanks for your time. 

I'm in the process of creating a lyric video in after effects. I really like this effect. I want to incorporate this effect in my video as well. But I couldn't decipher this effect. I'm talking about that yellow light streaks that look like "X". Please provide me with your valuable ideas. Thanks.

You can duplicate your text layer twice, put them at the bottom, and apply directional blur at 45 and -45 degrees:

You may add an adjustment layer on top of the bottom layers to add an extra blur effect and to shift colors

Duplicate the layer twice, apply Directional Blur, fiddle with Blend Modes, Opacity, Angle, and Length.

CC Light Burst on a duplicate of the text layer that has been pre-composed will get you a different look. Again, play with transparency, blend modes, and the other values.
