How to change background color to original?

Would you happen to know how to change background color to original? The image imported had a red background, but when I looked at it in the project, it was purple.

Click the toggle transparency switch at the bottom of your comp viewer. I suspect that these are just composition background colors (which don't render). If you want a color to be in the background, you'll need to add a solid with that color.
