How to create a rustling bush effect

Hey all,

I am very new to After Effects and was just wondering if anyone knows a technique on how to make a rusling effect? I understand there is a effect called CC Bend It, however I want to make a agressive shaking, less ordered effect instead of the ordered swaging CC Bend It provides.

Hola lo que deberias usar alli es un expresion llamada wiggle (ya es un tyema un poco avanzado) asi que te recomiendo es ver algun tutorila de dicha expresion.

It depends on the image. If you can get the bush with transparency on a separate layer you can use an animated Fractal noise effect on another layer as a displacement map. I have done this kind of thing lots of times to simulate everything from wormholes to shockwaves, to earthquakes. it just takes a good animated displacement map.

Show us the image you are working with and somebody will probably be able to give you a detailed step-by-step.
