How to determine

Some times this selection comes as a ellipse & Some times this comes as a circle. How to determine?

As per my understanding, it should always be Circle, it may look like an ellipse if you have scaled the shape layer in X or Y only.

No problem if it comes as circle, you can make adjustment in scale to make a ellipse. But problem is if it comes as a ellipse. This happend to me.

If you press Ctrl + Shift before clicking and dragging the mouse, you'll get a perfect circle. Is that what you're looking for?

Can you check your composition settings, are you using square pixels?

If that's not the case, can you post a screenrecording showing the issue in action?

Yes I am using square pixels.

It is sometimes it comes as an ellipse. When I encounter same problem again I will attach a video.
