How to edit text on an imported intro template?

I just saw this cool intro template on youtube: https://youtu.be/M2FSuCezaXs?t=43 (Intro number 17). I downloaded it and cannot find any ways to edit the text. None of the layers are editable as text (see pictures). Does anyone have any clue on how to fix this?

No text to edit, because it doesn't use any actual text. You have to replace the logo image or simply type in your own text. Since this uses the good old Vegas effect in the parent comp, it doesn't care how the actual contours are generated. Anyway, I would suggest you actually read the online help. It seems you're not even aware of basics like pre-composing or how some effects work.
