When I try to import an AE animation into another AE project the timeline values dissapears in the imported one. Why?
On other words: I have an AE project where the comtent is a MOV. On tho of that I want to place different AE animations and some AI illustrations. But when I import the animations, it do not animate at all, but just shows all the layers from the AI layes I used for the animation.
How do I keep the timeline, for the imported AE animation intact?

Maybe I'm missing something but what you are doing is rendering a .mov file to import this animation into another AE project, so you loose all the animated parameters.
If the first anmation is created in AE, the way to import into another AE project is simply importing the previous AE project file into the new AE project file. This way you will maintain all your animated parameters and original footage.

I think you are dropping again the files into a new composition. This is not what you need to do. Instead of this, when you import the first AE project into the new one, you MUST open the composition where you have the original animation or drop this composition into a new one to maintain the animation (Precomposition). Footage files will not have any animation because the animation resides inside compositions and layers.
