This is far from simple. You are taking cloth fluid dynamics here

This is not done in AE but rather in 3D applications like C4D, Maya, Blender, MODO etc

It is very complex and needs things like deformers, displacement, wind effectors etc

The closest in AE would be TRYING with the puppet pin Tool or using 3rd party plugins that won't truly give you a realistic effect

You could also look at SYFLEX which comes in a s plugin for Maya, C4D, Lightwave, MODO etc

https://syflex.biz/

Or you could go to a standalone app like MarvelousDesigner

All in all its a very complex task simulating things like cloth, hair, fluids etc

Best of luck

The only way to do this in AE without 3rd party plug-ins is to put the clothing on a separate layer and use a distortion effect. Puppet Pin works for some styles, but you could also use everything from Liquify to  Displacement Map. There is nothing that will automatically make clothes look like they are actually flexing in AE or even any 3D app. They all require some setup and definition of parameters. You can't just select a layer and click a button.

Agreed Rick. A lot goes into proper cloth simulation, From daemons, deformers and emitters to attractors to turbulence displacement maps etc. AE cannot handle these ...yet

Fashion is more than just clothing; it's a form of self-expression. The beauty of fashion lies in its ability to reflect individuality, culture, and creativity. Trends come and go, but personal style remains timeless. Whether you're inspired by streetwear or high fashion, how you dress can speak volumes about who you are. Ultimately, fashion allows everyone to showcase their unique identity and creativity in a visual way.
