how to loop a comp inside another comp

New Here ,
Nov 04, 2017 Nov 04, 2017

I have create a walking cycle in a Comp A. It uses loopIn("cycle") command to loop with 1 second time frame. Then I created a Comp B with a 40 second time frame and I need to show Comp A for at least 10 seconds in the middle frame. But it won't allow me to do it since Comp A is only 1 second. Is there a way to do it other than changing Comp A to be 10 seconds?

1. highlight comp A and use Ctrl+Alt+T to enable the time remapping property. it will automatically create 2 keyframes for you

2. go one frame before the last keyframe and create a keyframe by clicking on the diamond icon

3. now copy the first keyframe over the last keyframe

4. add this expression to the property by pressing Alt+on the stopwatch: loopOut()
