Is it not possible due to random particle generation, or is there something that can be done?

In the past, when I've need to make something like this, I've precomped the layer, offset a duplicate and faded between them.  I've also made a very long version and used that.  And my third solution was to use CC Particle World to create a ring of stars, and slowly fly through that.  The ring or starfield has to be quite large though, so you don't see much curving.

Edit:

Something is screwing up the post on the forum, this was my reply to another question.

Hi,

reduce the speed to zero and control the speed over the phase (360 degree will make it seemless). Try out with a 12 sec komposition. This one is really smooth and soft.

Greetings André
