Hi There, I tried switching to ACES by using ICIO converter plugins. But if I render out from Media Encoder the image looks much different. No matter how many tutorials I watch, nobody seems to adress this. Everybody talks about how to convert the profiles, but nobody addresses how to export to final video properly. The only method to export from After effects seems to be with the Render queue. I saw a similar question here that got no replies.

Have you checked the menu below? You can see some options of ACES.
File > Project Settings > Color tab > Color Engine:

ACES is out so many years! and still Adobe hasn't made this easy! What a shame!
It should recognize aces files and do all the work for use! not for us to setup 2 adjustmentlayers and Interpret every single file we import! WTF.
If encoder doesnt work, just export to Prores 4444 in AE and add the .mov to encoder and render out what you want!

Hi Guys!
Well on Mac I have to render out from After Effects (does not matter which format, h.264 or mov) - Media Encoder does not recognize the opencolorIO plugin. I think on windows it is different if you install the config file in Windows system data. ANYWAY: Just render out from After Effects, that is my own conclusion after many posts like this.
