Client asked the video to be delivered in html5. What is that process?

HTML 5 is not a video format. You can use HTML 5 to control a bunch of things including embedding media players or running SVG animations. After Effects may be the right tool to generate an animation but you'll need specifics for the project to decide which, if any 3rd party solution you need to use to generate an animation that can be turned into something that can be driven with HTML5. In most cases, Adobe Animate is a better tool to use to generate web-based animated content.

Roei pointed you to one of the 3rd party solutions I was talking about, but you still have to know exactly what the client wants and what the specifications are. The only time you look stupid is when you don't ask the client for their exact specifications and get them in writing. If you miss that step and you will, at some time in your career, end up with egg on your face.
