Hello,
I finally managed to get my notebook to recognize my Nvidia GT 555M video card, but now After effects no longer has a preview. No preview image is generated, either from the file or from the timeline composition. And when I drag the windows, there are traces of it ... How do I fix this? It's after effects cc 2019.erro after.png

I disabled the Nvidia card and the preview appeared again ... and a written: acceleration display disabled

Its mean I won't be able to use a video card?

I think your GPU is very old to work with After Effects 2019. But I'd try updating the GPU driver. Go to Preferences and turn off Hardware Accelerate Footage and Layer panels. That might help.

Hi there,

Thanks for reaching out. I can see that you are not getting Composition preview in After Effects 2019.

I was wondering if you have tried updating the GPU driver from the manufacturer's website.

As suggested by @Kulpreet, did turning off the Hardware Accelerate Footage and Layer panels help?

Let us know. We're here to help.

Thanks,

Nishu

Unfortunately it didn't work. The only way I managed to get the preview back to work was by disabling the video card.
I was saddened by this, because the performance is not good and it seems that my notebook is getting old.
