I cannot drag media into ae

I cannot drag any video or audio into after effects at all, but i can drag jpg.
I am not running in adminstrator mode.
All of my files are in the same drive.

That's not ideal.

Do you get any error messages when you try to drag video or audio files? Are you able to import the same files using the menu File > Import?

No. It just pops up with a red cross. Files can not import with file-import either.

What type of file are you trying to import? Check if your files are supported by After Effects: https://helpx.adobe.com/in/after-effects/kb/supported-file-formats.html
