Hello all,
I have had an exceptionally long render time, for something that seemingly should not. I have taken a 4k equitriangular video, and added some 2.5D layers over the course of a 3.5 minute video. Used the Immersive video setup to add simple (very simple) graphics. No heavy effects, at most I used an alpha video as a alpha matte to animate a flat layer on. Currently the render will end at about 41.5 hours of rendering. Again this seems to be way too long.
Here are my computer specs:
Windows 10 pro 64-bit
AMD Ryzen 1950X 16-core 3.4GHz
48 GB Ram
GeForce 1080 Ti
Can anyone tell me if they have had similar results?
thanks so much
Mike

Thanks for that Info, I think I am going try a few more stress tests and compare. I may go back to the i7.
I compared the project that ended up taking 43 hours to render, with Mac Pro 2013:
3.5ghz 6 core Xenon
64GB
AMD fire
=
22 hours
not impressed with AMD at all right now.
