AE prefers WAV/AIFF - essentially any uncompressed audio in the popular formatsf or the respective platforms. MP3/MPA should be converted to the suggested formats in Adobe Audition before using them in AE. HTH
BTW, how did you resolve your issue? It'll be good for others to know.

I went to the Audio panel and these three switches were at 0db position. I pull it down, sound came. But agin it returned back to 0db but sound is still coming. I do not the reaon. Do you know the reason?

I'm sorry, I don't know what would cause such an issue. Have you converted the MPA to WAV?

Use Adobe Audition. It's the audio software from Adobe and it's part of Creative Cloud.

Audacity is a popular Open Source (free) audio application and you can use that to convert your file into the WAV format, for use in AE/PPro. HTH

I have changed my plane to Creative Cloud. I can try now converting MPA to WAV. I wish to confirm whether MPA mean M4A as shown in the proprities window.

M4A and MPA should be interchangeable. You can actually go to your OS folder to change the file extension and all should function as expected. HTH
