Is there any way to download AE 24?

I've only used After Effects 2024 until recently, when I downloaded AE 25, the video preview won't load, and it seems to lag. I've never had problems with AE 24 but AE 25 is lagging and doesn't seem to work. At first the video preview had worked but now it won't seem to load and I've already checked my cache and RAM, neither seem to be the problem.

Now it doesn't want to even load the preview screen at all.

Sorry to hear about the issue. What are your system specifications (CPU, GPU, RAM, OS version)? Can you try clearing the media cache (Edit > Purge > All Memory & Disk Cache) and launching After Effects in Safe Mode with third-party plug-ins disabled? try toggling the safety guides on and off to see of maybe your comp bg color and the UI color are the same and maybe it's just not centered in the comp viewer.

in the creative cloud app, if you click on the three dots for the Ae app there is an option that says "Other Versions", you can choose wwhich one from there.

The only official way to get it back is through the Creative Cloud app open it, go to After Effects → More Options (three dots) → Other Versions, and see if AE 24 is listed there.
