Issue with transitions

For some reason, all of my transition presets split my clip into four quadrants. I tried purging all of my data, restarting my software, and even deleting and re-downloading the transition preset pack. Nothing worked. Any thoughts?

We'd need to see more detail to be sure - hit UU on the keyboard and screenshot as much of the timeline vertically as you can for the relevant layers.

But here's a guess: Remove your transition effect. Precompose your layer. Reapply your transition effect on the new 'comp layer'. Does that help?

The only effect applied was a transition from a transition plugin. The first thing I did was try a separate transition plugin, but when that plugin had the same problem, I assumed it was user error or a bug in the software.

The transition was a simple, "Distortion zoom in"

the best solution is to ask the author of the pack because they understand how this work, otherwise we need to see full details about the filter and the way this pack work to be able to give you the correct answer.
