Keys pressed on keyboard are displayed on screen. How to fix?

I use a Macbook and want to use shortcuts in After Effects, but I keep encountering this issue... for example, when I press the shortcut H, it switches to the Hand tool but at the same time, it also displays the text bar below, and if I press V (selection tool), it shows as HA. Does anyone have a solution to this problem? Please help me.

Looks like this is a feature of the OS that shows the keys pressed. Do you remember enabling such a feature or installing a third-party utility?
