I have the CS6 Master Collection downloaded and installed in a Mac OS X 10.9.5. All the other programs open and function, except After Effects - it won't launch. Any suggestions?
Try to launch the Adobe Application Manager. You will find it at Macintosh HD > Applications > Utilities. This application will tell you if you have some updates for your CS6 installation on After Effects. You can find a direct download in this link:
Adobe - After Effects : For Macintosh
You need the 11.0.3 (or 11.0.4) to run CS6 in OS X 10.9 or later

Hi Hideki
The error message says:
You can't use this version of the application "Adobe After Effects CS6" with this version of OS X.
You have "Adobe After Effects CS6" 11.0
All the other applications work fine, except AE...
