Lines on Stage

After I open 'After Effects 2020' (regardless of if it's from a file or not) I just get malfunction lines across the stage.

I'm running operating system, macOS Catalina 10.15.1, on a MacBook Pro (16-inch, 2019). I think it may be to do with the configuration between a new computer and Adobe. As I'm not having the same problem on my MacBook Pro (15-Inch, late 2013) that's running the exact same operating system.

Try changing the Video Rendering and Effects from Mercury GPU Acceleration (Metal) to Mercury Software Only from the Project Settings. Project settings can be accessed from the File menu. 

Also, check the System Compatibility Report under the Help menu.
